Where Can I Serve?

Jesus calls us, his disciples, to go, baptizing in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, making disciples of all nations and teaching them all things He commanded. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world.
It begins in our homes and our church family.  Our vocations as husbands and wives, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters give us the opportunity to serve others in the love of Christ Jesus.
It continues through our vocations as neighbors, friends and co-workers as we serve our neighbors in our local community.
It grows stronger as we join our time, treasure and talent with our brothers and sisters in Christ within our circuit, our district and our Synod to proclaim the Gospel to the whole world.
God gathers us, His children, around His Word and Sacraments in which He sustains, strengthens, safeguards our faith for His work in His kingdom. He sends us into a lost and dying world that desperately needs to hear the good news that Jesus is the Christ – their Savior.  God uses us as His voice and hands, snatching souls out of the kingdom of the evil one and bringing them into His kingdom.

Please look at the servant opportunities below that are available for you.  Join us in His good and joy-filled work!

God’s children at Martin Luther Chapel are thrilled to be part of increasing God’s kingdom around the world. All the Chapel’s events and activities rest firmly on our responsibility and privilege to proclaim the Gospel and invite everyone to join us where God comes and gathers His children.
We believe that our responsibility begins with those closest to us – our family and relatives. Our evangelism effort then expands to our neighbors and local community. We support our District and Synod efforts to proclaim the Gospel, make disciples and teach them all Jesus has commanded within our states, our nation and around the world.
Evangelism opportunities:
Personal:  ask our Evangelism Board for our Martin Luther Chapel Trifold, Booklets, Evangelism Pentecost FolderPentecost Divine Service Bulletin, Sunday School Invitation cards, Sunday Children’s Bulletins, Bookmarkers, Tracts, pens, tote bags, and other materials.  Share  them with:
     – family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors who are struggling with the consequences of their and others sins.
     – anyone you see while shopping, dining at a restaurant, or transiting from one place to another who appear burdened with cares and heavy laden with troubles.
