Kathy Harper (right) has taught the Pre-school (4 yr old) class for 4 years.  "I love their creativity and energy.  Before this, I managed fabric stores, and then, I went back for my Master's in Elementary Education.  I enjoy sewing, reading, handbells, and different Church activities."

Kim MacDonald (afternoon, on right): "I will be starting my 20th year in Education during the 2009-1010 school year.  I have spent 7 of those years teaching 4th grade here at MLCS.  It is a blessing to be part of the ministry here.  It is an awesome place for young lives to grow academically as well as in God."

Our music instructor, Mr. Warren Wenger, has been teaching music lessons for over 30 years.  He began playing the violin at the age 12 and attended the Philadelphia Musical Academy where he pursued a degree in Musical Performance on the violin.  Mr. Wenger has played in the Landsdowne Symphony, the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey, and the Pennsport String Band in Philadelphia.  He currently plays in church and professionally for weddings and special occasions.

Private Instruction:
Private lesson of violin, viola, cello, bass, piano, and mandolin are available to students in grades prek-12.  Students are able to participate at any level of experience.  Mr. Wenger teaches in the Suzuki method with traditional Western teaching methods.  There is a fee of $20.00 for a half hour lesson per week.  Students must own or rent their instrument.  Lessons are scheduled during school hours as a convenience to you and your child.
