Autistic Ministry: "God SPEACS"
God Seeks PEople ACross the Spectrum.
Martin Luther Chapel is starting a new ministry designed to address the spiritual needs of families affected by the spectrum
of mental disorders (“spectrum” is the scale used to assess Autism). Each week, families may gather in a caring environment
to hear God’s Word and fellowship with others who share a similar life experience. What’s more? This is an environment open
to families who might otherwise feel uncomfortable “going to church.” This new ministry is designed to accommodate those
whose needs in this life are different than others… but whose value makes the ministry worthwhile.

Jeremy Shears or Jakie Pawling for additional details.

South Asian Indian Outreach (SAIO)
Martin Luther Chapel, together with congregations from the area, is involved in helping the ministry of Rev. Naveen Nischal who
comes from southern India. After a year of study in the U.S., he saw opportunities for outreach to south Indian immigrants in New Jersey
and the greater Philadelphia region. For several years Pastor Naveen worked as an evangelist through LCMS North American Missions in
our state and in greater Philadelphia.
Currently, Pastor Naveen is based in Clark, NJ, serving on the staff of Zion Lutheran Church. He is gathering groups of Indian
immigrants for Bible Studies and discussions about the Christian Faith and the Lutheran Church.
