Senior Pastor |
The Reverend Dale Wm. Kaster was born in Newfoundland, Canada, on January 24, 1963, where his father was
serving in the United States Air Force. After many moves around the states, the family settled in Northern
Virginia in 1974 where he grew up. He is a 1985 graduate of Concordia College, Bronxville, NY and received
his Masters in Divinity from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri in 1989. Pastor Kaster’s vicarage took place at Zion Lutheran Church in Shelton, Nebraska and he was ordained into the pastoral ministry on September 10, 1989. He began his ministry at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (NJ District) in Point Pleasant, NJ and served there for five years. Since 1994 he has been shepherding Celebration Lutheran Church (English District) in Jacksonville, Florida. Pastor Kaster‘s greatest joy in the ministry is sharing the Word of God in Bible Study, preaching, and through conversation with his parishioners. He also enjoys mission work and has made several trips South Africa to build orphanages and encourage the work of the Lutheran congregation there. In 1987, he married Suzanne Wolf and they have been blessed with three children; Joshua, Gretchen and Jonathan. |
